Number details

Iranian phone numbers are ten digits (eleven including a leading ‘0’ that is not dialed when calling from outside the country).

The first two to three digits are an area code. It represents a geographic part of the country.

Mobile numbers start with a three digit carrier code (four digits including a leading ‘0’ that is not dialed when calling from outside the country) and begin with ‘9’.
