Please note: The Republic of the Congo (capital Brazzaville, also known as Congo Republic, West Congo, or Congo-Brazzaville) is frequently confused with the Democratic Republic of the Congo (capital Kinshasa, also known as “D.R.C.”, formerly known as Zaire).
